The drive from Nepalganj to Thakurdwara in Bardia takes approximately 2 hours.

If you choose the Phoksundo Lake trek, we arrange your flight to Juphal, overnight stays, and seamless transfers. Extra luggage can be safely stored in Nepalganj.

What if I don’t want to choose three different activities?
No problem at all. You can select the same activity multiple times. For example, enjoy a 3-day jeep safari in Bardia National Park. You can also choose a trek or extended tour instead of combining different experiences.

What wildlife can I expect to see on a Nepal tour or Jungle safari?
Wildlife sightings vary depending on the season, weather conditions, and the time spent in the park. In Bardia National Park, you may encounter iconic species such as the Bengal tiger, one-horned rhinoceros, wild elephants, and leopards along with numerous deer species, monkeys, and rich birdlife.
The park's rivers and wetlands are also home to crocodiles further west and the rare Ganges River dolphin. Early morning and late afternoon safaris often offer the best chances for wildlife observation.
While no sighting can ever be guaranteed, exploring the park with an experienced local guide significantly increases your chances and allows for a deeper understanding of animal behaviour and habitat.
Is camping required on Nepal Jungle safari tours?
Some Jungle experiences include camping, allowing for a deeper immersion in nature and wildlife. However, you can also opt for a multi-day safari without camping, returning to the comfort of your lodge after each day of safari.
Can you book my domestic flights?
Yes. Upon request, we have not special prices, but we can book your Kathmandu–Nepalganj flights or assist with alternative travel arrangements to simplify your journey.
